Responsibilities
Ms. Grove is responsible for providing academic advising support to the undergraduate business students and office staff. She processes essential student forms, maintains five appointment calendars for the Undergraduate Program office staff, manages arrangements for the Annual Honors Banquet, and assists with other events such as Pamplin Preview and Hokie Focus. In addition, she provides scholarship assistance to the Awards Committee, keeps records for Beta Gamma Sigma, and coordinates bulk mailings for special projects.
Biography
Ms. Grove grew up near Harrisonburg, VA, and graduated from James Madison University with a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology. Over the last six years, she has worked with a wide range of customer service programs; including recreational and competitive gymnastics, educational student travel, home furnishing sales, and real estate. After living in Atlanta for the past two and a half years, she relocated to Blacksburg with her husband and began working for the Undergraduate Program office in March, 2007. She applies each valuable experience to her new position, and strives to make a difference with the programs she works with, and to each student who comes through Pamplin’s door. Ms. Grove is thrilled to be a part of Virginia Tech! In October, she and her husband welcomed their first little Hokie.
