Transfer Orientation

Pamplin College of Business Transfer Students

  1. To complete the Transfer Student Questionnaire below, students must have their PID and their password. If you have not created your pid, go to the create a PID website.
  2. Complete the Transfer Student Questionnaire no later than June 8, 2009. This information will be used by the advisors to determine your class schedule for fall.
  3. For those that plan to attend summer school at Virginia Tech, schedule an appointment with an advisor by calling 540.231.6602.
    • For First Summer Session, schedule the appointment no later than May 15, 2009. Classes begin on May 26 and the session ends on July 2, 2009.
    • For Second Summer Session, schedule the appointment no later than June 26, 2009. Classes begin on July 7, 2009 and the session ends on August 13, 2009.
  4. Have your FINAL transcript(s) sent to the Undergraduate Admissions Office as soon as available.
  5. Students wishing to know if their AP, IB, & CLEP credits will transfer to Virginia Tech, should check with the University Registrar.
  6. Professional Academic Advisors will be available in the Computer Labs to assist students with questions and adjusting their class schedules.

NOTE: Faculty advisors and Department Heads will not be available during orientation.
